Hello, I'm Yiming Wang.

I'm born in Jiangsu Province, China, in Augest 2001. I'm now a first-year Ph.D. candidate of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU), supervised by Prof. Rui Wang. Before that, I received a Bachelor's degree from Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Beihang University(BUAA).

Research

I mainly focus on these areas oriented towards Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML):

1. Complex Reasoning:

  • Reasoning Performance Bottleneck of AutoRegressive Backbones
  • Reasoning Mechanism of Large Language Models

2. Discrete Generation:

  • Text Generation: Summarization
  • Molecular Generation: Retrosynthesis

3. Others: LLM Agent, Computational Linguistics
